Christmas  (meaning “Christ’s Mass”)

.
Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed most commonly on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among millions of people around the world.
While the date of Jesus’ birth are unknown by mid 4th century, the Western Christian Church had placed Christmas on December 25, although some churches celebrate on  the Gregorian calendar, currently corresponds to January 7.

Many popular customs  have origins in pagan festivals. These elements, including the Yule log from Yule and gift giving from Saturnalia, became syncretized into Christmas over the centuries.
The Christmas tree is a pagan tradition and ritual which included the use of evergreen boughs, and an adaptation of pagan tree worship; Saint Boniface (634-709), who was a missionary in Germany, took an axe to an oak tree dedicated to Thor and pointed out a fir tree, which he stated was a more fitting object of reverence because it pointed to heaven and it had a triangular shape, which he said was symbolic of the Trinity.

All religion is created by man, and it was at the council of Nicea  325  AD that man came to the conclusion that Jesus is god.  So the Jesus thing is just one of the mental scars of slavery we have been brainwashed with and refuse to let go, it has become second nature now. We are enslaving  our own minds.

“The slave masters  is the enemy of the slave, if the slave prays to the same GOD as his master he is praying to the  GOD that enabled the slave master to enslave them. Therefore that GOD is the enemy of the slave.”

Because gift-giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity,(good business) the holiday has become a significant event and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world, and is the reason why this custom still survives.

Maybe brothers and sisters if we ago pick up pagan traditions we should just pick up our own  African tradition even a new one like Kwanzaa it still has the elements of family coming together, giving of cards etc.
